Material Selection

Creating Custom Laser-Etched Keyboards
Designing Process:
Begin by applying a base coat of ink to the keyboard’s surface to determine the desired characters, patterns, or background colors.
Choose the first coat of ink to match the color of the legends, while the second coat, designed to absorb light, should be black or gray. Finally, apply the surface color as the last coat of ink.
Laser Etching Process:
After the production of basic compression transparent elastomer rubber keypads, they undergo a laser etching process.
The keypads are sprayed with an opaque coating, with the first coating matching the legend color and the second coating matching the surface color.
The keypads are then placed into a laser cutter machine for precise etching of the desired characters, patterns, or designs onto the surface.
